DAY 9

Beef (leftover from evening before)
Home made bacon and spinach soup
2x tsp Almond Butter

4.00pm - post workout

Protein shake
Apple

4.45pm

2x chicken thigh
1x chicken leg
Handful of nuts

8.00pm

Chinese style steak
Bok choy and broccoli
Sweet potato chips

 Recipe for Chinese style steak and chips




Ingredients (serves 2)

2x  Large steaks
Chinese 5 spice
Chilli powder
Garlic
2cm piece of Ginger
1/2 red chilli
Lime
Bok Choy (wash and half)
Broccoli
1x Sweet potato (chopped into strips)
Olive oil


1. Pre-heat the oven to 220 and boil the sweet potatoes in a pan until slightly soft. DON'T OVER BOIL

2. Sprinkle about a Tbsp of Chinese 5 spice, a pinch of salt and pepper and a tsp of chilli powder over the steaks. Coat in a glug of olive oil and toss until the whole steak is covered in a sticky paste.

3. Put the broccoli and Bok choy onto boil.

4. Put the sweet potato on a large baking tray and sprinkle over some olive oil and salt and pepper. Place in the oven

 5. Grill the steaks on a high heat for about 2 minute each side (medium rare). Once cooked leave to rest on a large chopping board.

6. Finely grate the chilli, garlic and ginger over the cooked steaks. Squeeze over some lime and a little more olive oil. Cut the steak into thin strips and toss in the ginger, garlic, chilli, lime and olive oil.

7. Plate everything up and enjoy!!
